Final Fantasy VII Remake wäre möglich!

Der wohl nach Final Fantasy 13 meist gefragteste Final Fantasy Titel, ist die Nachfrage nach einem Remake von Final Fantasy 7 auf der Playstation 3.  Doch dies wird laut Square Enix nie geschehen, weil wie zuletzt bekannt wurde, würde die Remake Portierung auf die Playstation 3 nahe zu unmöglich sein, da es für die PS3 um einiges Komplexer ist ein Spiel zu entwickeln.

Yoshinori Kitase hat sich zu dem Thema jetzt etwas ausführlicher zu Wort gemeldet.

Es sei mit der Heutigen Technik möglich ein Remake von Final Fantasy 7 zu erstellen,  da sie dies aber in einem Jahr schaffen müssten sei es unmöglich.

“If it were possible that we had all the right facilities and the right environment to be able to make and prepare a Final Fantasy VII remake within a year, we’d very much like a go at it,”

erzählte er auf Kotaku

“But even Final Fantasy XIII has taken over three and a half years to create. If we were to recreate Final Fantasy VII with the same level of graphical detail as you see in Final Fantasy XIII, we’d imagine that that would take as much as three or four times longer than the three and a half years it has taken to put this Final Fantasy together. So it’s looking pretty unrealistic.

“But if any such situation came about, by any remote chance, then yes, we’d do it”.

Es ist zwar nicht gerade ein gutes Zeichen das es jemals ein Final Fantasy 7 Remake auf der Playstation 3 geben wird, doch zumindest weiss man jetzt mehr warum. Auch wenn ich es nicht nachvollziehen kann, warum ein neues Spiel schneller fertig sein soll als ein Remake.
